The Ipswich Memorial Day activities are as follows:
- Poppy Weekend - May 18 - 20
Multiple locations throughout Ipswich & Rowley.
Dedicated to educating citizens as to the true meaning of Memorial Day.
- Ipswich Schools Veterans Ceremonies -
MAY 18 - Ceremonies will be conducted at the Ipswich High School
UPDATE - ALL VETS PLANNING TO ATTEND THE IHS CEREMONY SHOULD MEET NLT 0800 AT THE VFW PARKING LOT. A BUS WILL BE PROVIDED.
MAY 23 - Ipswich Middle School, Winthrop and Doyon Schools
beginning at 0830.

- Decoration of Cemeteries - May 25
Veterans and Boy Scouts place flags at all veterans graves in Ipswich at 1800.
- Religious Services - May 27 (1000)
Ascension Memorial Church, County St.
Ascension Memorial Church, County St.
- Parade - May 28
Ceremony to begin at 1000 at the Civil War Monument on
North Main Street. The parade will then march to the
County Street Bridge, War Memorial and South Main Street
Cemetery for ceremonies at those locations, with a
concluding ceremony at the VFW Hall on County Road.
