FEBRUARY 2018 MEETING

At the 05 DEC 2017 meeting, membership voted to suspend the January 2018 meeting.

 The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 6 at 1900 hrs in the VFW Hall on County Road.

COLLATION FOR COMRADE BURRIDGE

IMPORTANT UPDATE - 

The planned birthday party to celebrate Jake Burridge's 100th Birthday scheduled for Thursday, 
January 25 in the VFW Hall 1200 - 1500 hrs has been postponed due to Jake's current illness.  

Information will be provided when it is rescheduled.

FOUR CHAPLAIN MEMORIAL SERVICE

The annual American Legion, District 9, FOUR CHAPLAIN MEMORIAL SERVICE will be hosted this year by the Herman A. Spear Post 331, Beverly MA.

The Memorial will be held on Sunday, February 4 at 1300 hrs at the Immanuel Congregational Church, 140 Bridge Street, Beverly.  A collation will follow at Post 331, 3 Judson Street, Beverly.

This service commemorates the valiant sacrifice  of the Four Chaplains of different faiths made on the sinking of the troopship USS DORCHESTER during WWII.
