FOUR CHAPLAINS SUNDAY
The annual memorial for Four Chaplains Sunday will be held at the First Congregational Church in Manchester MA on February 3 @ 1400 hrs.
A collation will follow at the Manchester American Legion Post #113 immediately after.

On Thursday, OCT 25, Representative Brad Hill is sponsoring a "Meet & Greet" Spaghetti Supper from 1700 - 1900. All veterans are invited to attend at the VFW Hall, 110 County Road.

200th ANNIVERSARY OF THE TOPSFIELD FAIR
Veteran's have been invited to participate in the opening ceremony and parade for the 200th anniversary of the Topsfield Fair.
The parade will march from downtown Topsfield to the Fair Grounds on Saturday, September 29.
Interested members should form-up at 0800 in uniform.

Approximately 15 volunteers will be needed to set-up, serve and clean-up.
Members should meet at the Masonic Hall, Topsfield Road NLT 1545 for 1700 service.

A disposition ceremony and retirement of used flags will be held in the VFW parking lot on County Road
beginning at 1800 hrs.

A dedication ceremony will be held at the Riverbend Assisted Living Facility on County Road at 1400 hrs.
Members participating are requested to arrive at 1315.

COLLATION FOR COMRADE BURRIDGE
IMPORTANT UPDATE -
The planned birthday party to celebrate Jake Burridge's 100th Birthday scheduled for Thursday,
January 25 in the VFW Hall 1200 - 1500 hrs has been postponed due to Jake's current illness.
Information will be provided when it is rescheduled.

The annual American Legion, District 9, FOUR CHAPLAIN MEMORIAL SERVICE will be hosted this year by the Herman A. Spear Post 331, Beverly MA.
The Memorial will be held on Sunday, February 4 at 1300 hrs at the Immanuel Congregational Church, 140 Bridge Street, Beverly. A collation will follow at Post 331, 3 Judson Street, Beverly.
This service commemorates the valiant sacrifice of the Four Chaplains of different faiths made on the sinking of the troopship USS DORCHESTER during WWII.
The Memorial will be held on Sunday, February 4 at 1300 hrs at the Immanuel Congregational Church, 140 Bridge Street, Beverly. A collation will follow at Post 331, 3 Judson Street, Beverly.
