MAY 2013 MEETING

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 7 at 1900 hrs at the VFW Hall.

MEMORIAL DAY PLANNING

All members are strongly encouraged to attend the May meeting.  Planning for the annual Poppy Weekend and Memorial Day observances will be conducted at that time.  Volunteers are URGENTLY needed to participate on both these weekends.

GOOD OF THE LEGION

The following members were nominated for Officer positions during the April meeting:

The second and final round of nominations will be held during the May meeting, with officers to be sworn in during the July meeting,

POST APPAREL

A decision was made by membership, at the April meeting, on a supplier for winter jackets.  The cost, including patches and embroidery, will be approximately $100 each, with 50% being paid by the Post.  Interested members should contact Vice-Commander Walt Bartniski to order.
